Shoppes at Celebration Place

Construction activity at The Shoppes at Celebration Place is starting to pick up. The new retail and restaurant strip mall is going up at the intersection of 192 and Celebration Place, essentially wrapping around the existing Panera Bread location.

We're seen the tenant list already shake up since this initial filing several months ago. Five Guys took over the slot that initially went to BurgerFi. The other tenants -- Walgreens, Chipotle, Pei Wei, Subway, TooJay's -- have held firm, but there are some recent rumblings about TooJay's pulling out.

The plans filed for Shoppes at Celebration Place also include additional retail space, but there have been no news on potential restaurant, store, or service tenants.

Five Guys had initially announced that the new location will be the first in Florida to serve milkshakes. It was also aiming for a September opening, but that seems unlikely at this point judging by the state of construction. However, a partial opening before the end of the year of the new strip mall is still quite possible. We'll update this report as news develops.
